Beach Home Location — Surfside Beach, Texas
The Blue Sea Star is a beachfront beach house on the Texas Gulf Coast, located where Surfside Beach meets Freeport in Brazoria County.
About Surfside Beach, Texas
Surfside Beach is a small, family-friendly beach town on the upper Texas Gulf Coast in Brazoria County. Unlike busier Texas beaches like Galveston, Surfside Beach offers a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere with miles of uncrowded sandy shoreline along the Gulf of Mexico.
The town is known for its vehicle-friendly beach, the Surfside Jetty (a popular spot for fishing and crabbing), Jetty Park, and the free Surfside Splash Pad at Stahlman Park. Surfside Beach sits at the mouth of the Brazos River, where the river meets the Gulf, creating a unique coastal ecosystem and excellent fishing conditions.
Our beach home is located right where Surfside Beach meets Freeport, giving you easy access to both communities. Freeport adds waterfront dining on the Old Brazos River, deep-sea fishing charters, and the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge — one of the best bird watching destinations on the entire Gulf Coast.
