Our Dog-Friendly Beach House

The Blue Sea Star welcomes up to 2 pets under 25 lbs. Our beach home features an outdoor shower to rinse off sandy paws, a wrap-around deck where your dog can enjoy the ocean breeze, and easy beach access just steps from the front door.

Pets must be disclosed at booking time. If left unattended in the beach house, they must be in a suitable crate. We want every guest — two-legged and four-legged — to have a great stay.

• Leash requirement: Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet when on the beach and in all public areas of the village.
• Waste cleanup: Pet owners are required to immediately pick up and properly dispose of pet waste. Bring bags — there are limited disposal stations on the beach.
• Restricted areas: Pets are not permitted in posted wildlife nesting areas or within the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge boundaries adjacent to the beach, per Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regulations.
